Andy Warhol: My True Story

​Discover an intimate side of pop art icon Andy Warhol at Newlands House Gallery’s upcoming exhibition, “Andy Warhol: My True Story.” This unique showcase offers a behind-the-scenes look into Warhol’s life and creative process, featuring an array of previously unseen works and personal artifacts.

Curated by Jean Wainwright, the exhibition assembles an impressive collection of Warhol’s drawings, prints, photographs, recordings, films, and archival paraphernalia. Visitors will gain insight into the complexities of Warhol’s persona, exploring both his public image and private life. Notably, the exhibition sheds light on his close relationship with his mother, Julia, who played a significant role in preserving their Carpatho-Rusyn cultural heritage.
